While DVD seems here to stay (for awhile, anyway), Netflix is already starting to eye digital delivery via the internet.

In a story from The Hollywood Reporter, Netflix CEO Reed Hastings told a gathering of Wall Street analysts that he sees the internet ultimately being the place where consumers go to watch and gather their content.

He referred to television and the internet as the "forces of control," and while admitting that the internet has a ways to go before it can give consumers "good-looking video," ultimately Hastings thinks that that medium is going to prevail.
