It's that time of year again, networks open their check books and fill out their upcoming fall schedules. But first, some new shows must go through the initiation process. It's Pilot Season, where everyone hopes their new show gets picked up and studios look for that one or two break-out hit.

So what can you look for in the fall? This year, some major names are joining that list, starting with former JAG star Catherine Bell and Office Space's Gary Cole in the new CBS drama Company Town. The show will focus on the lives of certain government agents who live in the same neighborhood.

The CW has announced one of their first new shows; Cheryl White and D.W. Moffett will star in Kevin Williamson's yet-untitled drama. Kevin is the man who wrote the first two Scream films for the movie franchise.

Comedian, Diedrich Bader is going back to ABC for the comedy Mr Nice Guy; he'll be joined by Rena Sofer. Also, Paul Reiser is writing a comedy which will star Mercedes Ruehl, Kevin Hart in the CBS comedy The Weekend, and John Sloan will star in Fox's comedy pilot Happy Hour. The show is about two roommates who have two very different perspectives of love.

Only a few of these shows will get picked up for a full season. The CW has not finalized plans for all the major markets. A formal announcement is expected soon.
