New Line is setting up a new female-driven comedy for its next project. According to The Hollywood Reporter, New Line has picked up the new comedy What Was I Thinking, with Elizabeth Banks and Leslie Mann attached to star.
The film will be based off the book of the same name by Barbara Davilman and Liz Dubelman, in which the pair compiled 58 stories of their real-life ex-boyfriends. Susanna Fogel and Joni Lefkowitz are adapting the book for producer Lynda Obst.
The movie version will follow a woman who gets dumped at her engagement party, which causes her friends to take her on a skiing getaway. It was also said that four bad boyfriend flashbacks will be interwoven into the story. The film was also described as "a girls Apatow movie."
No production schedule was released for the film.
