/paddington-poster/Way back in June 2012, the first poster for Paddington was released. The Weinstein Company, which will be distributing the live-action/animated adventure here in the states, has released a second poster nearly a year and a half later...Which is basically identical, with a few slight modifications and the company logo attached. Nothing to get too excited about! Cool nonetheless if you are a dyed in the wool Paddington Bear fan. Take a look, and read on for further details.

<strong><em>Paddington</em></strong> Poster

Based on the popular children's novels by Michael Bond, Paddington arrives on screens across the country just in time for Christmas 2014, exactly 56 years after the chuddar in the floppy yellow hat and peacoat made his debut.

The movie is being produced by David Heyman, one of the men responsible for bringing the Harry Potter franchise to the big screen. Paddington will be voiced by Colin Firth, who is also doing Motion Capture for the role.

"I'm going to do some sessions wearing one of those helmets with cameras to capture my face muscles, and all that data will somehow be incorporated into Paddington."

Sally Hawkins and Hugh Bonneville are playing Henry and Mary Brown, the human couple who discover the bear in London's Paddington Station and bring him home to live with their family. Nicole Kidman is the villain. She explains her excitement about the project, and reveals that she jumped at the chance to play opposite the bear.

"I was read the stories when I was little and I grew up with Paddington. I know all about his adventures and what mischief he got up to."

Paddington is one of three movies that Nicole Kidman and Colin Firth will work together on in 2014. They will appear in the adult drama The Railway Man, and will also be seen together in the WWII psychological thriller Before I Go to Sleep.
