According to DVD Town, Panasonic's newest Blu-Ray player will take a little bit longer to hit the shelves.

The Panasonic DMP-BD30K Blu-ray player will hit the shelves on December 1, still in time for the holidays. The player retails for $499 and is the first 1.1 profile player, which will allow the first ever picture-in-picture features. It was recently announced that Sunshine will be the first Blu-Ray release to feature the picture-in-picture technology.

The DMP-BD30K was originally slated to hit stores on November 12. No reason was given for the delay.
