Jurassic Park 4:Ain't It Cool has gotten a hold of 2 interesting scoops from scoopers about the up and coming 4th installment to the Jurassic Park series...take a look:

For those who don't know, Jack Horner was the technical adviser on Jurassic Park and it's sequels. Before the end of the night, in a q-and-a period, a friend of mine asked him about Jurassic Park 4. He said, "I've already done some work on it" but he added, "I suspect it is going to veer off in a direction that is a bit less scientific, so I'll probably only work on it for a little bit."

Then a bit on Sam Neill's involvement in the movie:

Sam Neill is not going to appear in Jurassic Park 4, and I do know this for a fact. I know that Sam Neill’s Character is not in the current script for the film. How do I know that? I can’t give that away, but I will give you a hint. The story will involve the United Nations, and the extermination of the dinosaurs. I can't give any more with out blowing my cover.

Troy: Orlando Bloom is in talks to join the cast of Troy which already will stars Brad Pitt & Eric Bana, according to The Hollywood Reporter:

"The Lord of the Rings" trilogy star Orlando Bloom is in negotiations to join Brad Pitt and Eric Bana in Warner Bros. Pictures/Village Roadshow Pictures' "Troy" for director Wolfgang Petersen. The big-budget "Troy," based on "The Iliad," Homer's epic account of the Trojan War, is set to begin shooting in the spring in the United Kingdom, Malta and Morocco, with an eye toward a 2004 release. David Benioff wrote the script to the adventure, which will see Bana star as Hector to Pitt's Achilles. Hector is the prince of Troy, who leads the Trojan army in holding off the entire Greek armada. It is Hector's brother, Paris (Bloom), who steals the beautiful Helen away from her husband, Menelaus, the king of Sparta, and prompts the war between Greece and Troy. No other roles have been cast.

X-Men 2: Halle Berry recently spoke with Sci-Fi about her upcoming role as Storm in the X-Men sequel.

"It's going to be really good. [Director Bryan Singer] has done a great job."

But Berry added that, despite attempts to beef up Storm's part, she has no more screen time this time around than she did in the first X-Men. "I think they may have initially tried, but there are so many characters to deal with," she said. There are "all the [characters] from the past, plus five new ones. So I think it's very much an ensemble. You don't really get into the mind of Storm in this movie. You don't really get to know where she comes from, what makes her tick. I don't think that's what this one is about."

Berry said that she is not yet signed for any more X-Men sequels. But she added that if she were to sign up again, she'd want a bigger role. "I do think they should use her powers a little bit more," she said. X2 opens May 2, 2003.

Me and My Monster: Stan Winston is set to produce a kid's flick entitled Me & My Monster along side the creator of "Greg The Bunny". The story will follow a boy and the special relationship he has with a monster as he grows up.

Charlie's Angels: Halo: The Chicago Sun-Times recently spoke with Halo producer Jenno Topping about the sequel. Check out what she had to say about Bill Murray's replacement:

It's Chicago's own Bernie Mac who is getting bossy with the girls in "Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle," due out next summer. As for why Murray is out and Mac is in, producer Jenno Topping diplomatically says, "Hilarious and talented as he is, Bill is his own animal, and that can pose a few problems.

"So Bernie Mac is replacing him as Bosley's brother and he's fantastic." She admits that it took some wrangling to get Demi Moore to do a small role as villain Madison Lee. "It took a lot of desperate pleas and a lot of money."

As for the plot of "Halo," Topping admits that topping the first film wasn't hard. "Part two is going to be infinitely better. This time we actually have a script. With the first film, we were literally flying blind and getting new script pages daily."

Harry Potter & The Chamber Of Secrets: According to The Hollywood Reporter, pirated copies of the new Harry Potter are circulating on the internet:

Days before the premiere of "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets," the film's producer said it fears pirated copies are showing up on the Internet. Warner Bros. said in a statement Tuesday that an illegal copy of the film has appeared on the Internet, which often contains bootleg copies of films, even before they hit theaters. The studio later retracted the statement in a phone call to The Associated Press, saying reports of bootleg copies hadn't been substantiated. But an AP search discovered what appeared to be the movie available on a site hosted in Europe. According to the site, the film had been downloaded more than 500 times already. Because it takes hours to download such files it was not immediately possible to verify that they contained the movie. "The illegal copying and distribution of movies is theft," the studio said. "Warner Bros. takes the threat of Internet piracy very seriously and employs all legal means to contain the unauthorized copying and distribution of our films on the Internet."

Stan Lee: Stan Lee is suing Marvel for 10 million dollars. He claims that he has not been properly compinsated for movie adaptations of popular comics such as Spider-man, Daredevil, & The Hulk.

"Despite reaping enormous benefits from Mr. Lee's creations, defendants have failed and refused to honor their commitments to him," the lawsuit charges. The film version of Marvel's Spider-Man has been the year's biggest hit, grossing more than $400 million domestically, the AP reported.{@@@newline@@@}{@@@newline@@@}Lee hopes to gain a percentage of profits from that film and the upcoming film versions of Daredevil, which is scheduled for release in February, The Hulk and the upcoming X-Men sequel, X2, which opens in May.

For its part, Marvel issued a statement saying Lee "continues to be well-compensated" for his contributions to the industry, the AP reported. Marvel added that the company is "in full compliance with and current on all payments due under terms of Mr. Lee's employment agreement."
