The Nice Guys has cast its bad guys, with Beau Knapp and Keith David joining director Shane Black's noir drama.

Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe headline this 1970s detective thriller set in Los Angeles. Gosling stars as a P.I. who must work with Crowe's hired leg-breaker to solve the case of a missing girl and the seemingly unrelated death of a porn star.

Beau Knapp is playing a motormouth hit man who evokes the gold-chain wearing styles of the day. He is also prone to accidents. Keith David will play his aging partner in crime. Matthew Bomer, of Magic Mike fame, joined the cast earlier in the month.
