It didn't take long for a popular reality competition show to find a new host. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Nick Cannon has been tapped to be the new host of NBC's reality series, America's Got Talent.

Cannon takes over for Jerry Springer who bowed out last week. "Nick exemplifies the spirit of America's Got Talent with his talent, originality and an infectious love of performing and creating," NBC's head of alternative programming Paul Telegdy said. "His popularity and appeal are sure to take the series to a new level of success."

It was also revealed that the network is developing other projects with Cannon in mind. The series' judges Sharon Osbourne, Piers Morgan and David Hasselhoff will all return for the fourth season.
