According to Variety, Nickelodeon teen network the N has greenlit a second season of drama series South of Nowhere from exec producer Tom Lynch. The cabler has ordered 13 new half-hour episodes, which go into production in spring for an October debut.

The drama concerns the transition of a family from small town Ohio to life in Los Angeles while delving into themes of sexual and racial identity and self-discovery. Skein was recently feted with a GLAAD Media Award nom for drama.
