Monte Carlo, a new romantic comedy based on the Jules Bass novel Headhunters, has just nailed down its lead actress. According to Variety, Nicole Kidman is all set to star in the film.

The screenplay, written by the film's director Tom Bezucha, revolves around three Midwestern schoolteachers who skip out on their cheapskate vacation to pose as wealthy socialites on a visit to the town of Monaco. Kidman plays one of the teachers.

Maria Maggenti co-wrote the screenplay. Production is to start before the end of the year.
