Production Weekly has revealed that Night at the Museum 3 will begin production next year in Vancouver and London.

"Production begins February on @ShawnLevyDirect's Night at the Museum 3 filming on location in Vancouver & London."
Night at the Museum 3 to start shooting in February
We first reported on the project back in February, when 20th Century Fox announced that they are moving forward on the sequel with star Ben Stiller and director Shawn Levy, who both worked on 2006's Night at the Museum and 2009's Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian.

Back in December 2010, screenwriter Thomas Lennon, who co-wrote both the original movies with Robert Ben Garant, hinted that the sequel was being written, although neither of the writers have been confirmed at this time.

While we know the sequel is being shot in London, it isn't known if it will be set there as well. With several famous museums such as the Natural History Museum, London may very well be the perfect place for Ben Stiller's Larry Daley to show up next.

We'll keep you posted with any further details regarding Night at the Museum 3 as soon as we have more information.
