Paramount's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was certainly a big hit at the box office last summer, taking in $191 million domestically and $477 million worldwide. However, it wasn't received quite so well with the nation's critics, earning just a 21% "Fresh" rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Whether you love it or hate it, the remake did well enough for Paramount to give the go-ahead for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2, which is set to hit theaters on June 6, 2016 from director Dave Green (Earth to Echo). While we wait for more details to emerge on the sequel, the folks over at Cinema Sins have broken down everything that's wrong with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

The city needs heroes. Darkness has settled over New York City as Shredder and his evil Foot Clan have an iron grip on everything from the police to the politicians. The future is grim until four unlikely outcast brothers rise from the sewers and discover their destiny as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The Turtles must work with fearless reporter April and her wise-cracking cameraman Vern Fenwick to save the city and unravel Shredder's diabolical plan.
