Nona Gaye is joining the cast of the crime drama, Law & Order: Criminal Intent on NBC.

The Hollywood Reporter says she will be a no-nonsense new assistant district attorney starting next season.

Also in TV news, Lindsay Sloane has signed on to co-star on the upcoming sitcom, Help Me Help You for ABC.

Both shows will be back in the fall.
