Lizzy Caplan is in talks to take the female lead in Now You See Me 2, a sequel to 2013's Now You See Me.

Most of the original cast is returning for the continuation of this heist saga, with Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher, Dave Franco, Morgan Freeman and Michael Caine set to reprise their roles.

New cast additions include the recently announced Daniel Radcliffe, who will be playing Michael Caine's son.

Jon M. Chu will direct the magic-themed follow-up, produced by Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci, two of the driving forces behind The Amazing Spider-Man and Star Trek franchises. Bobby Cohen is also on as a producer, with the screenplay coming from Bill & Ted 3 scribe Ed Solomon and Pete Chiarelli.

Lizzy Caplan has been offered the role, but needs to work out her Masters of Sex schedule before she can officially sign on. The nature of her role has not been revealed.

The actress will next be seen on the big screen starring opposite James Franco and Seth Rogen in The Interview. She will then reunite with Seth Rogen in the Untitled Christmas Eve Project.
