Now You See Me was a surprise smash hit when it hit theaters back in May 2013, pulling in $117 million in domestic grosses before eventually earning $351.7 million worldwide off a $75 million budget. So it should come as no surprise that Lionsgate and Summit Entertainment are poised to release the sequel Now You See Me 2: The Second Act in June 2016. Fandango has our first look at the cast on set, who have all gathered within the cramped confines of a small airplane.
Returning for the caper from the original movie are cast members Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco and Michael Caine. We see them here joined by newcomers Lizzy Caplan and Daniel Radcliffe. The only one missing from the photo is third newcomer Jay Chou.
One year after outwitting the FBI and winning the public's adulation with their mind-bending spectacles, the Four Horsemen resurface in Now You See Me 2: The Second Act only to find themselves face to face with a new enemy who enlists them to pull off their most dangerous heist yet. Check it out as the main core of thieves begin to plan their next move.
