Oliver Hudson has been tapped to star on CBS' midseason comedy Rules of Engagement, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The series follows an engaged couple, a married couple and a happily single guy.

Hudson will play Adam, the engaged man. He replaces Paulo Costanzo, who played the role in the pilot. The role of Adam's fiancee also is being recast. Kathleen Rose Perkins played the part in the pilot.

Hudson joins Patrick Warburton and Megyn Price, who play the married couple, and Greg Pitts, who plays the single guy.
