PBS and Wildheart Entertainment will be working together to produce the anticipated On Record: The Soundtrack of Our Lives documnetary. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Beatles producer George Martin will host, and Kevin Spacey will narrate.

On Record: The Soundtrack of Our Lives will be an eight-hour miniseries that documents the history of record music and the popular culture it represented. The miniseries will feature interviews and footage from hundreds of artists in many musical formats.

PBS is scheduled to air On Record: The Soundtrack of Our Lives in the fall of 2010.
