Emmanuelle Seigner is not happy about Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. The French actress is married to Roman Polanski and is upset over the fact that Tarantino is using the director's image in the movie. Polanski is played by Polish actor Rafal Zawierucha in Once Upon a Time and the 85-year old director was not consulted. Polanski was married to Sharon Tate when she was brutally murdered by the Manson Family in 1969.

Margot Robbie plays Sharon Tate in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and the late model/actress' family was consulted before work began on the production. Emmanuelle Seigner is upset over the fact that Hollywood has no problem using the image of Roman Polanski in the movie to make some cash while the director continues to be ostracized from the entertainment industry as a whole. She explains.

"I am just saying that it doesn't bother them (in Hollywood) to make a film which takes Roman and his tragic story... while at the same time they have made him a pariah. And all without consulting him of course."

While Emmanuelle Seigner isn't happy about her husband's image being used in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and says Quentin Tarantino is "using the tragic life of someone and then walking all over them," she is not bashing the movie. She is happy to hear "the movie is good... but the concept bothers me." Tarantino has been receiving praise for Once Upon a Time and a lot of people are looking forward to seeing the movie hit theaters this summer.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood barely features Roman Polanski and the actor portraying him only has a few lines of dialogue. The Polish director was charged with the rape of a 13-year old girl in the 1970s and fled the United States to live in Europe. 85-year old Polanski has been a fugitive ever since, despite repeated attempts to have him extradited over the years. The director is currently trying to sue the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for expelling him late last year. The Academy threw him out for ethical reasons and also expelled Bill Cosby at the same time.

Margot Robbie's Sharon Tate does not have a large role in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, but Quentin Tarantino refers to her as "the heartbeat of the story." Tarantino came under fire this week after he was asked why Robbie only has a few lines of dialogue when she is out doing press and is billed as one of the three main stars of the movie. The director refused to answer a female reporter's question about the situation, which caused a minor stir at Cannes. The early praise for Once Upon a Tie in Hollywood has since taken that news and cast it aside. You can read Emmanuelle Seigner's Instagram post below.
