Harpo Incorporated President Tim Bennett announced today that Oprah Winfrey is expected to announce the end of her twenty-five year run on syndicated television tomorrow. Her final airdate is expected to be September 9th, 2011.

At this time, Oprah's reasons for calling it quits are unclear. And it has yet to be announced that she will be taking her popular talk show to her newly formed Oprah Winfrey Network, otherwise known as OWN. The channel is expected to replace the Discovery Health Channel in the next few years.

Bennett sent a message to syndicate stations airing "Oprah" thanking them for their long-time support. He stated, "Tomorrow, Oprah will announce live on The Oprah Winfrey Show that she has decided to end what is arguably one of the most popular, influential and enduring programs in television history. We want to thank you for the partnership and friendship we have shared over the years."

The Oprah Winfrey Show is set to celebrate 25 years of being on the air in September 2011.
