Sony Pictures is moving forward with Men in Black 4, hiring screenwriter Oren Uziel (The Kitchen Sink) to write the screenplay. Additionally, the studio has also set the writer to re-write the script for another sequel, 21 Jump Street 2. Oren Uziel will first work on the 21 Jump Street 2 script before moving on to Men in Black 4.

Sony's Men in Black 3 earned a healthy $625 million worldwide, the highest-grossing movie in the sci-fi franchise. Story details are being kept under wraps for Men in Black 4. A director hasn't been attached yet, but it seems likely that Barry Sonnenfeld will return, since he made all three movies in the franchise. Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones starred in the first trilogy as Agent J and Agent K, although their return hasn't been confirmed yet either.

Oren Uziel will rewrite Jonah Hill and Michael Bacall's original draft for 21 Jump Street 2, which was given a June 6, 2014 release date last week. Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum will be back as Schmidt and Jenko, with Dave Franco likely returning as Eric Molson.

Oren Uziel is currently developing The Kitchen Sink and Mortal Kombat at Warner Bros. The scribe is best known for writing the Mortal Kombat: Rebirth short film, which lead to the launch of Warner Bros.' Mortal Kombat: Legacy web series.
