We first reported on the project back in July when Kevin Costner signed on to play a desperate father who must smuggle cocaine on a midnight flight to London to save his daughter from a Colombian cartel. Our first report indicated that the father was trying to save his son, but it appears the script has been altered slightly.
Luther creator Neil Cross wrote the screenplay, based on an original story by Guillermo del Toro, who is producing with David Linde. Gary Ungar, Tory Metzger and Russell Ackerman are serving as executive producers. No production schedule was released.
Otto Bathurst is best known for his work on British mini-series' such as Peaky Blinders, which debuted in the U.K. this September.
