With Comic-Con just a few days away, Cinemax has revealed the new poster and a variant comic book cover for Robert Kirkman's new TV series Outcast. The poster features a rather gruesome drawing of a crude monster trying to abduct a young child, while the variant cover of the comic art gives us our first look at series star Patrick Fugit. Fans will be able to pick up this comic throughout Comic-Con at the Skybound Comics booth (#2729).

Outcast, based on the Skybound/Image comic title by creator Robert Kirkman and artist Paul Azaceta, follows Kyle Barnes, a young man who has been plagued by demonic possession all his life. Now, with the help of the Reverend Anderson, a preacher with personal demons of his own, Kyle embarks on a journey to find answers and regain the normal life he lost. But what Kyle discovers could change his fate - and the fate of the world - forever. Patrick Fugit stars as Barnes, a man searching for answers, and for redemption, who sequesters himself from those he loves for fear of causing greater hurt.

Patrick Fugit (Kyle Barnes), Philip Glenister (Reverend Anderson) and Wrenn Schmidt (Megan Holter) will be joined by executive producers Robert Kirkman and Chris Black at the Saturday Comic-Con panel, which will take place in Room 6DE at 3:00 PM. Cinemax hasn't announced when this show will premiere yet, so perhaps they will reveal the start date at this panel. While we wait for more details, check out the poster and variant comic book cover below for Outcast.
