During the premiere of Paint, the upcoming film where Owen Wilson portrays legendary painter Bob Ross, the actor opened up about another one of his anticipated projects: Loki. The hit Disney Plus series will release its second season later this year, with Wilson reprising the role of Mobius M Mobius. Season two of the series will see the addition of Academy Award Winner Ke Huy Quan, something that Wilson is excited about. He told ET:

"I know. It's so exciting. That was incredible. Every time I saw him [Quan] winning something, it was another speech that just kind of was a tearjerker that was so moving. And even when we were working on this last summer -- I think his character that he plays in Loki season two -- I think people will be excited, even though that was so great, obviously, the character that he won an Oscar for, I think people are going to love his character in this."

Wilson was also asked about the Loki teaser that appeared at the end of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. "I guess they have kind of a little shot of Tom Hiddleston and I and Jonathan Majors from Loki season two," he said. "And I think that's coming out end of the summer or September."

The premiere of Loki's upcoming season has been delayed, but it is expected to premiere on Disney Plus later this year, where the first season is currently available for streaming. Loki stars Tom Hiddleston (as the titular character) and Wilson. Sophia Di Martino is set to reprise the role of Sylvie, while Quan, Rafael Casal, and Kate Dickie are new additions to the second season.

While fans eagerly await Quan's presence in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the actor has been candid about his struggles finding roles in Hollywood. Quan began his career in the 1980s as a child, appearing in the popular films Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and The Goonies. Throughout the late 1980s and 1990s, he went on to work on television and film but following a role on Encino Man, he found it difficult to find work. Quan remained out of the limelight until 2022 when he appeared in Everything Everywhere All at Once. The Academy Award-winning film marked Quan's first major role in 30 years.

Aside from earning the coveted Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor, Quan's performance as Waymond Wang also resulted in Screen Actors Guild Award and Golden Globe Award wins.

In a previous conversation, Quan revealed that Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige asked him to join the ever-expanding MCU.

"When our movie came out, the first phone call I got was from Kevin Feige. Who graciously asked me if I wanted to join the MCU and I called Jonathan and the gang, and I said, you know what, nobody wants to hire me except Stephen Spielberg, George Lucas, The Daniels, and Kevin Feige. It's been incredible. 2022 is the year I will always remember because it's one of the happiest years of my life," Quan told the Happy Sad Confused Podcast.
