Owen Wilson has signed on to star in the comedy, Drillbit Taylor for Paramount Pictures.

The story revolves around two high school freshmen who are targeted by the school bully on the first day of the school year. The Hollywood Reporter says the boys hire what they think is a low-budget soldier of fortune (Owen Wilson) to protect them, but he turns out to be anything but.

Judd Apatow and Seth Rogan wrote the final script based on a 70-page scriptment from John Hughes; Apatow will also produce the film. Steven Brill is in negotiations to direct Drillbit Taylor.
