Palm Pictures has bought the rights to the rock documentary, Kill Your Idols.

The film covers three decades of underground New York bands from Teenage Jesus & the Jerks to Sonic Youth to the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, says The Hollywood Reporter. Director, S.A. Crary takes a look at the evolution of 1970's "no wave" music to today's alternative music scene.

Kill Your Idols was completed in 2004 and will be released sometime in the fall.
