The next generation is getting a touch of class today.

In a story from The Digital Bits, it looks like New Line Home Entertainment will be releasing Guillermo Del Toro's Pan's Labyrinth on Blu-ray Disc and HD-DVD on 12/26.

This will release will contain "all the extras from the 2-disc DVD release, along with Enhanced Visual Commentary."

The HD-DVD version "will add the usual Internet options. Audio will be Dolby Digital and DTS 5.1 and DTS HD 7.1 on both discs."

Synopsis:

In this fairy tale, a small family in Spain moves into an old house in 1943 after the rise of Fascism. Their eldest daughter, at age 12, falls in love with a fawn that lives in the old ruined labyrinth which resides behind their new decrepit home.

The Pan's Labyrinth HD-DVD and Blu-ray Disc will sell for $35.99.
