I Am Number Four's Callan McAuliffe has boarded the cast of Alex Proyas' Paradise Lost. The director is also eyeing Diego González Boneta for the lead role of Adam.

The actor joins Bradley Cooper, Benjamin Walker, Djimon Hounsou and Casey Affleck in the film, an adaptation of John Milton's 17th-century English poem about the epic war in heaven between archangels Michael (Benjamin Walker) and Lucifer (Bradley Cooper).

Callan McAuliffe will play the role of the Archangel Uriel, one of the first seven archangels created by God. When Lucifer rebels against God and Michael is named commander of Heaven's army, the dedicated soldier Uriel becomes his second in command. Diego González Boneta, if he decides to jump aboard, will play the first man, Adam. It is also rumored that Camilla Belle will to take on the role of the first woman, Eve.
