Heat Vision is reporting that Paramount has snapped up the rights to the Image comic book Existence 2.0. Nick Spencer wrote this comic which features artwork by Ronald Salas.

Miles Millar and Alfred Gough (Smallville) are set to adapt the screenplay. They are also executive producing.

Platinum Dunes, the Paramount-located company that's run by Michael Bay, Andrew Form and Brad Fuller, is producing this project with David Alpert from Circle of Confusion.

Existence 2.0 follows an amoral physicist "who finds his consciousness transferred into the body of the hitman who just killed him." He starts to enjoy the life that the hitman lead until his daughter gets taken by the people who did him in.
