I'm Not There: Suppositions on a Film Concerning Dylan: According to Variety, Paramount Pictures has reached a deal with Killer Films and Wells Prods. to produce writer-director Todd Haynes' next feature, a film about the life of Bob Dylan.

Haynes is currently scripting the project, tentatively titled "I'm Not There: Suppositions on a Film Concerning Dylan," at his Oregon home. The singer has licensed music rights to the production.

Specifics remain vague. "The film is going be inspired by Dylan's music and his ability to re-create and re-imagine himself time and time again," said Killer principal Christine Vachon.

She said Haynes, who hopes to complete the script in another few months, has been formulating the project even before directing 2002's "Far From Heaven." At one point last year, Leonardo Di Caprio's production shingle Appian Way was expected to produce but is no longer involved.
