The Secret Life of Walter Mitty: According to The Hollywood Reporter, in a project that links three generations, Samuel Goldwyn Jr. and his son John Goldwyn are teaming up to produce the remake of the 1947 Samuel Goldwyn production The Secret Life of Walter Mitty for Paramount Pictures.

DreamWorks and Steven Spielberg are no longer involved in the project, though Jim Carrey is retaining his first-look option to star. It is the first time that Samuel Goldwyn Jr., the son of the legendary producer Samuel Goldwyn, and John Goldwyn, who recently segued into a production deal at Paramount after stepping down as Paramount Pictures co-president, have joined forces on a project.
