Paramount Vantage bought the rights to the drama, Son of Rambow and the urban drama, How She Move.

The studio bought Rambow for $7 million, the largest buy at this year's Sundance Film Festival. The film, from writer/director Garth Jennings, is an 80s-era tale of young friends inspired to become filmmakers by their favorite Sylvester Stallone movie, says The Hollywood Reporter.

How She Move centers on the world of step dancing, similar to Screen Gems Stomp the Yard. It's from director Ian Iqbal Rashid and first-time feature screenwriter Annmarie Morais.

Also from Sundance, Fortissimo Films bought the rights to the World War II documentary, Nanking from Bill Guttentag and Dan Sturman's film; it was produced by AOL vice chairman Ted Leonsis.
