The untitled Gravier Productions film is produced by Allen's longtime associates, Letty Aronson and Stephen Tenenbaum.

Allen's upcoming film, Magic in the Moonlight, was shot in the south of France last year and will be released on July 25, 2014 by Sony Pictures Classics.

We reported in May that Joaquin Phoenix boarded the untitled project, with Emma Stone, who stars in the director's new comedy Magic in the Moonlight, joining just a few days later. As is the case with all Woody Allen movies, no plot details have been released this early into the production.

Parker Posey will next be seen in Grace of Monaco alongside Nicole Kidman, while Jamie Blackley stars in the upcoming young adult adaptation If I Stay with Chloe Moretz.
