Parker Posey has agreed to guest star on ABC's drama Boston Legal as a new lawyer who's trying to join the firm of William Shatner and James Spader.

According to Variety, Posey will play Marlene Stanger, a recent transfer from another firm; Stanger is a BlackBerry-carrying politico looking to make partner. She's scheduled to appear in three upcoming episodes.

In pilot-casting news, Chris Johnson has joined Lindsay Sloane and Nick Lachey in the CW comedy pilot She Said/He Said. The sit-com is about the marriage of Nick and Lindsay as they attempt to balance a normal life and Nick's career as a famous baseball player.

Also, Kathleen Rose Perkins has landed a lead role in the new CBS show from Tom Hertz.

Jonathan Sadowski has been cast in My Ex-Life for CBS. Roger Bart, formally of Desperate Housewives and Tom Cavanagh are already attached to the comedy pilot.

Scoot McNairy is joining Jennifer Espisito and Alicia Witt in the new FOX comedy pilot More, Patience. The show is about a New York psychiatrist who has her own personal problems.
