Director Paul Verhoeven has lined up his latest movie project with Eternal, according to Deadline New York.

David Loughery (Obsessed) wrote the script based on his own pitch to Sidney Kimmell Entertainment, with Richard D'Ovidio (Exit Wounds) rewriting the project. The movie centers on a married man who is a recovering alcoholic who finds himself helping a woman down from jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge.

After he sleeps with her, he thinks he's busted by his wife when an investigator presents some photos, although they turn out to be of him drinking alone. The man discovers the woman is actually a succubus who is after his soul.

The project was said to be Paul Verhoeven's next movie, with production is set to start sometime next summer. We previously reported that Paul Verhoeven was directing a new movie entitled The Hidden Force, although it seems this Eternal project will go first.

We'll be sure to keep you posted with any further information on Eternal as soon as we have more information.
