Paul Weitz is taking his comedy, Another Bullsh*t Night in Suck City to Fox 2000; he's directing the film as well.

Originally, the adaptation of Nick Flynn's best-selling memoir was at Sony, but Fox 2000 picked up the option; Weitz and brother Chris will co-produce through their Depth of Field Productions. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Flynn's memoir revolves around his experiences as a case worker for the homeless and his relationship with his father. As a teenager, Flynn had received letters from his estranged father, a delusional con man and self-proclaimed poet. The memoir follows Flynn and his father, whose self-destructive behavior eventually drives him onto the streets and into the homeless shelter where Flynn works.
