The story centers on a New York professor (Nicolas Cage) whose young son goes missing during a Halloween parade. One year later, the professor begins to sense his son's presence, uncovering clues that lead him to a vengeful ghost who abducts children every Halloween. Sarah Wayne Callies is playing the professor's estranged wife Kristen, an environmental attorney who teams up with her husband to get their child back before the spirit life claims him forever.
Uli Edel (The Baader Meinhof Complex) is directing from a script by Daniel Kay, based on a short story by Tim Lebbon. Nicolas Chartier, Craig J. Flores, Ian Levy and Patrick Newall are producing, with Cybill Lui and Dennis Berardi executive producing. Production is slated to begin next month in Toronto.
