Peacock is one of the newer names in streaming, first launching in July 2020. However, it's made a name for itself with several iconic films and television shows. Some of its hits include dramas like Dr. Death, One of Us is Lying, The Girl in the Woods, Bel-Air, and A Friend of the Family.

On the comedic side, Peacock has given us Rutherford Falls, Girls5eva, MacGruber, and the Natasha Lyonne-led Poker Face. Saved by the Bell and Punky Brewster have also received series reboots on the platform.

Peacock is looking to continue its string of successes in May 2023, with several new and continuing series set to bow on the platform. A fan of true-crime documentaries? Try Menendez + Menudo: Boys Betrayed, which tells the story of an unexpected link between an iconic boy band and some of the world's most notorious murderers. Want something comedic that's also true to life? Check out Bupkis, a comedy by Pete Davidson that tells a fictionalized version of his life.

How about travel documentaries hosted by former stars of The Office? Peacock has you covered with Rainn Wilson and the Geography of Bliss, where Dwight Schrute searches the world for happiness. Finally, those who loved the David Schwimmer-led Intelligence will be glad to know that a new special is coming.

Menendez + Menudo: Boys Betrayed (May 2)

The Menendez Murders: Erik Tells All
A&E

Lyle and Erik Menendez are two murderers convicted of killing their parents in 1989. Menudo is a Puerto Rican boy band popular throughout the 1970s and 1980s. So why exactly are they receiving a show together, and what is their connection?

Per a press release, "Lyle and Erik Menendez infamously killed their parents in 1989. Menudo was the first mega-boy band to take the world by storm. In this explosive limited series, viewers will learn of the connection that links the two stories and could corroborate the brothers' decades-old accusations against their father, Jose Menendez. One former Menudo member could be the key to changing how the public views the brothers' case while simultaneously crusading for his own justice."

A trailer hints at the connection between the boy band and the Menendez father, reportedly a fan of the group. Viewers can tune in to see the connection between the Menendez brothers and Menudo when all three of the miniseries' episodes drop on May 2.

Bupkis (May 4)

Pete Davidson in Bupkis
Peacock

Pete Davidson is primarily known for two things: his acting career and dating life. On the acting side, most of Davidson's roles both in film and Saturday Night Live are based primarily on his own life. Such is the case for Bupkis.

In Bupkis, Davidson stars as a heightened, fictionalized version of himself in typical Pete Davidson fashion. He's also had no trouble attracting star power to his new outing. Edie Falco portrays Davidson's mom, with Joe Pesci onboard as his grandfather.

There's also a sprawling list of guest stars, including Brad Garrett, Charlie Day, John Mulaney, Jon Stewart, Kenan Thompson, Simon Rex, Ray Romano, Bobby Cannavale, Machine Gun Kelly, and even Terrifier's Art the Clown (David Howard Thornton) for some reason.

Those who love Pete Davidson's personal life can tune into Bupkis when the first eight episodes are released on May 4.
