Today, The Little Red Haired Girl from The Peanuts Movie made her debut with the help of  Francesca Capaldi, who provides the voice of this iconic character on the big screen. Francesca shared the photo on Instagram, giving the world an adorable first look! This is the first time the Little Red Haired Girl from the movie has been seen!

To learn more about the Little Red Haired Girl and the real-life woman who inspired her, The Washington Post has the whole story. Her real name is Donna Johnson Wold, an 80 year old former crush of The Peanuts creator Charles M. Schulz. His was an unrequited love, though, as the real-life Little Red Haired Girl chose another man over the future comic strip legend. And thus, one of the funny pages most endearing characters was born. And she will return once again to wreck havoc on poor Charlie Brown's heart in this November's The Peanuts Movie.

In The Peanuts Movie, Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy, Linus and the rest of the beloved Peanuts gang make their big-screen debut, like they've never been seen before, in state of the art 3D animation.  Charlie Brown, the world's most beloved underdog, embarks upon an epic and heroic quest, while his best pal, the lovable beagle Snoopy, takes to the skies to pursue his arch-nemesis, the Red Baron. From the imagination of Charles M. Schulz and the creators of the ICE AGE films, The Peanuts Movie will prove that every underdog has his day. And at the end of that very long day stands this vision of schoolyard beauty. Yes, the Little Red Haired Girl. Take a look!
