The Mandalorian has been a massive success ever since the release of season one in 2019. Pedro Pascal plays Din Djarin, or Mando, the battle-hardened Mandalorian tasked with protecting Grogu. Over the past two seasons, we have tagged along as Mando narrowly escapes harm, blasts enemies, and even meets Luke Skywalker himself. With a third season of the series on the way, Pascal believes it's time we see Mando on the big screen. The actor recently shared his thoughts with Variety on the series and the possibility of seeing Din Djarin in an upcoming film.

"I, personally, I have no — truly — I have no idea, but that would be a dream come true. Not that any more dreams could possibly come true! [Laughs] Maybe I've had my fill."

"Seeing just the trailer on the big screen like that, I mean the way it envelops you and takes you back, and at the same time, it is beyond special to be able to kind of have the intimate experience that we do have with these chapters of The Mandalorian and it's expanded universe and everything that is to come and everything that's just started as far as Obi-Wan Kenobi, and we're figuring it out."

"I love going to the movies. Going back and just being able to be with an audience again is one of the most important things to me. If that happens with The Mandalorian, all I can say is... please!"

It certainly seems like Pascal is eager to suit up in a Star Wars movie, although it's impossible to say when and what film he could appear in if he ever does.

Finding a film that makes sense for Din Djarin to appear in will be challenging. However, it may be even more complicated for Pedro Pascal to find the time. This year, he appeared in The Bubble, The Book of Boba Fett, and The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent. Pascal is currently working on HBO's The Last of Us, an adaptation of the popular video game by PlayStation starring Bella Ramsey, Nick Offerman, and Gabriel Luna alongside Pascal. With season three of The Mandalorian planning to release in Feb. 2023 and season four reportedly already in the works, Pascal has very little time to spare with other projects. However, he seemed more than eager to make it happen; now, it's up to Disney to decide.
