Originally set to start filming in the fall, now Alex Aja's Piranha 3-D won't start production until March or April of 2009, according to ShockTillYouDrop.com.

Apparently some more preparations needed to be made in order to execute Aja's 3-D visuals.

Piranha 3-D's release date of July 24th has yet to change.
