Production on Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales has been under way for the past few months, and we already got a brief glimpse at Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow in a behind-the-scenes photo from the set. Today, producer Jerry Bruckheimer revealed a new photo of the actor in full costume, as he is seen being tied to a post by two enemy pirates. We reported last month that the actor was injured on the set, but production wasn't notably impacted. What did Jack do to deserve such a fate? We likely won't know for quite some time, since the sequel isn't slated to hit theaters until July 7, 2017, but hopefully we get more photos of the actor as production continues.

Thrust into an all-new adventure, a down-on-his-luck Captain Jack Sparrow finds the winds of ill-fortune blowing even more strongly when deadly ghost pirates led by his old nemesis, the terrifying Captain Salazar (Javier Bardem), escape from the Devil's Triangle, determined to kill every pirate at sea...including him. Captain Jack's only hope of survival lies in seeking out the legendary Trident of Poseidon, a powerful artifact that bestows upon its possessor total control over the seas.

The supporting cast includes newcomers Kaya Scodelario, Brenton Thwaites and Golshifteh Farahani, along with returning fan favorites from the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise such as Geoffrey Rush as Barbossa, Kevin McNally as Joshamee Gibbs and Stephen Graham as Scrum. Joachim Rønning and Espen Sandberg are directing this high seas adventure, from a script by Jeff Nathanson. Take a look at this new photo below, and stay tuned for more details on Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales .
