Terry Rossio has signed a deal with Disney to write Pirates of the Caribbean 5, reports Deadline.

Ted Elliott, who co-wrote the first four pictures, will not return for the fifth installment. The studio is also making moves to bring back director Rob Marshall for his second voyage on the franchise.

Johnny Depp will also return for a fifth film, though it's too early to consider him locked.
