Disney has sold the rights to their third Captain Jack Sparrow outing to the USA cable network. According to Variety, USA paid a pirate's booty of $28 million to show Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End on their channel.

USA was eager to pay the hefty sum. They already paid a lot to air the first two Pirates movies. The first installment brought in the highest rating ever for the cable channel. It continued to rack up high ratings with its next three airings.

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End will be available to USA in September of 2009 for a five-year run. Before it hits the USA Network, it will air next summer on the pay cable channel Starz.
