While Americans get ready for the 4th of July holiday, Pitch Perfect 2 director/co-star Elizabeth Banks enlisted the help of Skylar Astin (Jesse) and Ben Platt (Benji) to celebrate a cappella style. The filmmaker posted a new video to her Facebook and Twitter pages featuring the actors, clad in their traditional Treblemaker purple blazers, singing an a cappella version of "America the Beautiful." Take a look at the brief video, then read on for more details regarding Pitch Perfect 2.

As you may recall from Pitch Perfect, Jesse joined The Treblemakers, Barden University's all-male a cappella singing group, while Benji didn't make the final cut. Jesse brought him back to the team after the departure of Bumper (Adam DeVine), giving Benji his time in the spotlight during the finals.

Pitch Perfect 2 is well into production, but there isn't a whole lot we know about the story, except that Beca (Anna Kendrick), Fat Amy (Rebel Wilson) and the rest of the Barden Bellas will be back at Barden University, along with The Treblemakers. New cast members include Hailee Steinfeld, who is reportedly being groomed to take over the franchise if this sequel is a hit, and Katey Sagal.
