With Sony Pictures' Pixels hitting theaters in just over one month, the studio has released a sneak peek giving us our best look yet at Ashley Benson's Lady Lisa. Director Chris Columbus explains how Lady Lisa is a video game character that Josh Gad's Ludlow Lamonsoff fell in love with when he was a kid. Now, thanks to an alien attack using video game technology, Lady Lisa comes to life. This latest featurette has Ashley Benson revealing how tough her character is, and that she thinks it's important to show girls how they can do anything boys can.

As kids in the 1980s, Sam Brenner (Adam Sandler), Will Cooper (Kevin James), Ludlow Lamonsoff (Josh Gad), and Eddie "The Fire Blaster" Plant (Peter Dinklage) saved the world thousands of times - at 25 cents a game in the video game arcades. Now, they're going to have to do it for real. In Pixels, when intergalactic aliens discover video feeds of classic arcade games and misinterpret them as a declaration of war, they attack the Earth, using the video games as the models for their assaults -- and now-U.S. President Cooper must call on his old-school arcade friends to save the world from being destroyed by Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, Galaga, Centipede, and Space Invaders. Joining them is Lt. Col. Violet Van Patten (Michelle Monaghan), a specialist supplying the arcaders with unique weapons to fight the aliens.

This latest preview also includes plenty of behind-the-scenes footage, most of which features Ashley Benson beating up Josh Gad's character. The supporting cast includes Brian Cox, Sean Bean, Jane Krakowski and Lainie Kazan. Check out this action-packed featurette, and stay tuned for more footage before Pixels arrives in theaters July 24.
