One star from Marvel's The Eternals has been having a weird December. Kumail Nanjiani shared a shirtless selfie earlier this week which featured his incredible body transformation for The Eternals. Fans of the Silicon Valley actor were stunned to see how much hard work and effort he put into his new superhero role, which many called out as fake news. However, it was all very real and it received a lot of attention, so much so that PornHub now uses his image in their Muscular Man category.

After the initial shock wore off, Kumail Nanjiani went back to business as usual with his new toned physique. He found himself in new memes, while also seeing his name and image trend on social media all over the world. But things were only about to get weirder for the actor. Nanjiani had this to say about how his week progressed.

"It's been a weird couple of days... This is NOT photoshopped. PornHub changed their picture of the Muscular Men category to... me. As I said, weird couple of days."

PornHub has been in the entertainment news quite a bit lately. Earlier this year, they started a fruitful partnership with former Disney star Bella Thorne, who wrote and directed an adult movie for the popular site. Thorne even went on to win and accept the Vision Award for her short movie. Then, the adult entertainment site released its year-end analytics, which revealed that their top 30 movie searches were dominated by superheroes. Avengers were the number one searched movie-related material on PornHub, while Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn and The Incredibles fell closely behind. Whatever the case may be, The Eternals star will fit right in when the 2020 top 30 search queries are announced.

As for Kumail Nanjiani, he seems to be flattered that PornHub would use his image for their Muscular Man section of their site. As he said in his original post, he never thought he'd be the one to ever share a shirtless selfie online, but he realized that he put forth a lot of effort in the last year and wanted to share, almost as if he's in as much disbelief as anybody else. All it took was some of the best trainers and nutritionists Marvel Studios could buy, which Nanjiani has no problem admitting.

Marvel Studios fans are excited to see Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo in The Eternals and he's very excited to be a part of the cast. The top Pornhub searches of 2019 have been for superheroes. So, it also appears that a lot of PornHub visitors are excited about Nanjiani's body transformation, at least for now. Whatever the case may be, it has to be a pretty interesting time for the actor at this point in time. He's had a lot of success over the past few years with The Big Sick, but he has just entered a whole new level of fame. I never thought I’d be one of those people who would post a thirsty shirtless, but I’ve worked way too hard for way too long so here we are. You either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain. I found out a year ago I was going to be in Marvel’s Eternals and decided I wanted to transform how I looked. I would not have been able to do this if I didn’t have a full year with the best trainers and nutritionists paid for by the biggest studio in the world. I’m glad I look like this, but I also understand why I never did before. It would have been impossible without these resources and time. So big thanks to @grantrobertsfit who started working with me at the beginning of the year and made me understand true physical pain for months and months. Then, once we started shooting, a massive thanks to @davidhigginslondon and his team (@ellispartridge, @thebeardypt, @tomcheesemanfitness) for training me almost every day and making me strong, limber and injury free. I can almost touch my toes now. (And thank you for forcing me to do cheat meals David.) Matthews Street Catering for their delicious and healthy meals. And finally, the biggest thanks goes to @emilyvgordon for putting up with me complaining and talking about only working out and dieting for the last year. I promise I’ll be interesting again some day. #thirstyshirtless (Photo by @markupson.) (edit: I left off one very important person: @lancecallahan who trained me for 6 years and helped me build the foundation I could use to do this. Thank you!)
