Thai director Prachya Pinkaew will make his English-language directorial debut with the action thriller Elephant White, starring Djimon Hounsou and Kevin Bacon, for Millennium Films.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Hounsou will play a mercenary, while Bacon portrays an old acquaintance of Hounsou's character whose allegiance can't be trusted.

Screenplay is by Kevin Bernhardt.

Production begins in Thailand on March 8.
