Production has been under way for the past month on AMC's new TV series Preacher, based on the beloved comic book series of the same name by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon. Executive producer Seth Rogen, who is also co-directing the pilot with his filmmaking partner Evan Goldberg has been sharing photos from the set on his official Twitter page, and he recently sent out a few more images, which feature the cigarettes that the main character Jesse Custer (Dominic Cooper) smokes, along with a sneak peek at his costume. It isn't clear quite yet how much production remains on the show, or when it may air on AMC.
Based on Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon's twisted '90s comic book series, Preacher is about Jesse Custer, a conflicted Preacher in a small Texas town who merges with a creature that has escaped from heaven and develops the ability to make anyone do anything he says. Along with his ex-girlfriend, Tulip, and an Irish vampire named Cassidy, the three embark on a journey to literally find God.
Preacher also stars Ruth Negga as Tulip O'Hare, Joseph Gilgun as Cassidy, Ian Colletti as Arseface, Lucy Griffiths as Emily Woodrow, Elizabeth Perkins as Vyla Quinncannon and Jamie Anne Allman and Derek Wilson as Betsy and Donny Schenck. We'll be sure to keep you updated as soon as Seth Rogen sends out more photos from the Preacher as production continues. In the meantime, take a look at the latest photos below.
