Back in November, fans got their first look at AMC's highly-anticipated Preacher, which is set to debut sometime in May, although the network hasn't officially announced a premiere date yet. While we wait for the next batch of footage to arrive, the show's Twitter feed debuted three new photos featuring the main characters Jesse Custer (Dominic Cooper), Tulip O'Hare (Ruth Negga) and Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun). AMC has also announced that fans attending SXSW next week will get a sneak peek at the show.

On Monday, March 14, the festival will host a special screening followed by a panel with the cast and show creators. Executive producers Sam Catlin, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg will be joined by stars Dominic Cooper (Jesse Custer), Ruth Negga (Tulip) and Joseph Gilgun (Cassidy) for a live Q&A. The screening will begin at 2:45 p.m. at the Paramount Theatre, located at 713 Congress Ave. Click here for more information. And while at SXSW, fans shouldn't miss a one-of-a-kind installation that brings the teaser art for the show to life and must be seen to be believed. The display will be available from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily from March 11-15 at 313 Red River Street.

Preacher is based on the popular, cult comic book franchise of the same name, created by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon. Preacher is a supernatural, twisted and darkly comedic drama that follows a West Texas preacher named Jesse Custer, who is inhabited by a mysterious entity that causes him to develop a highly unusual power. Jesse, his badass ex-girlfriend Tulip and an Irish vagabond named Cassidy come together and when they do, they are thrust into a crazy world populated by a cast of characters from Heaven, Hell and everywhere in between.

The supporting cast includes Jamie Anne Allman as Betsy Schenk, Thomas Barbusca as Chris Schenk, W. Earl Brown as Hugo Root, Ian Colletti as Arseface, Lucy Griffiths as Emily, Lucas Neff as J.J. Quinncannon, Elizabeth Perkins as Vyla Quinncannon and Derek Wilson as Donnie Schenk. Most recently, Jackie Earle Haley signed on to play Odin Quinncannon. AMC hasn't announced an exact premiere date yet, but perhaps that will happen during the SXSW screening next week.

The Sony Pictures Television and AMC Studios co-production was developed for television by Seth Rogen & Evan Goldberg (This Is the End, Superbad, Neighbors) and showrunner Sam Catlin (Breaking Bad). Are you looking forward to these beloved comic book characters coming to life on the small screen this year? While we wait for more footage, check out these new Preacher photos below.
