The Seth Grahame-Smith novel adaptation Pride and Prejudice and Zombies just can't keep a director. First David O. Russell backed out of the project. Then in January, replacement Mike White decided to /mike-white-exits-pride-and-prejudice-and-zombies/bail. Now, the production is looking to lock in Craig Gillespie.

Craig Gillespie's credits include the upcoming remake Fright Night and the critically acclaimed indie Lars and the Real Girl. The director is being sought for his expertise in the ironic horror genre.

Craig Gillespie is currently in negotiations to take over the project, which was originally slated to start shooting soon. As the project has a high turnover rate when it comes to directors, it isn't quite clear when Pride and Prejudice and Zombies will get off the ground, or how long Craig Gillespie will stay attached.
